We asked our current community members "Do you have recommendations for anyone interested in going Greek?" And here is what they said:
"Don’t be shy! We are all here to fully welcome you to our community :)" - Lea Delacruz (ASA)
"Please do not limit your surveying of potential fraternities or sororities to one or two options, some may surprise you." - Alejandro Reyes (OD)
"DO IT. Especially after the COVID pandemic, my Fraternity served as an amazing support group. Coming into a competitive university environment, finding a community of different majors that all share the same core values make the experience so much better." - George Robert Alexander Beck (PKS)
"Try to get to know members of different chapters so you can get an idea of who you click with and which chapter may be right for you." - Alyssa Thompson (ASA)
"Look for the chapter where you get along with the most people and who have the kind of environment that just feels right." - Ana Shack (ASA)
"Pick the right fraternity for you. Pick one that you're going to get something out of, connections, opportunity, guidance, resources." - Robert Hernandez Jr. (OD)
"Rush ASA lol. But for real my best advice is just to put yourself out there and try to remember that you're there to see if *you're* interested in the sorority/fraternity, not just to try and gain their acceptance. So try and get to know them as much as they try to get to know you!" - Cassie Carlson (ASA)
"Find out what each Chapter has to offer and don't be afraid to reach out to learn more." - Alexander Espitia (OD)
